Listen up, Democrats. Here's why you lost

Reposted after the November election. Democrats still don’t get it. Amazing!

Progressives/Democrats/liberals are stumped, flummoxed and baffled that their arrogant attempt to impose their will on our democracy didn’t work out as planned.

So, I’ll contribute my two cents (now a dime because of Biden’s inflation) to explain why they lost:

They didn’t listen.

They didn’t listen to us when anyone with eyes could see that the border was wide open. Instead they swore under oath that it was secure.

They didn’t listen to our warnings that the open border would bring crime in with it. Or that America wasn’t equipped to handle the new millions. Or that it wasn’t fair when legal immigrants had to wait in long lines to enter America.

They didn’t listen until it was too late to recognize that President Joe Biden was losing it. That it was a threat to national security

They didn’t listen about how a secret cabal running the country was a spit in the eyes of the American people who voted for Biden. And that usurping the will of the people was a real threat to democracy.

They didn’t listen about how a nation-wide lockdown to fight the pandemic lasted too long. That learning remotely wasn’t working. That millions of small businesses were jeopardized. That entire economy would suffer grievously.

They didn’t listen to warnings that blindly following the self-appointed “experts” (e.g. Anthony Fauci) was a serious mistake. Or following another path urged by other scientists was better. Or when they ridiculed and tried to shut up those scientists who dared to disagree with the given wisdom.

They didn’t listen either when that real science would allow disagreements about the causes of man-made .

They didn’t listen when we saw Joe Biden’s failing health and cognition.

They didn’t listen when we complained about media bias.

They didn’t listen when we couldn’t help but notice that they were censoring conservatives on social media.

They didn’t listen when we warned that the printing of trillions of dollars would create high inflation.

They didn’t listen when we pointed out that a candidate who wouldn’t hold a traditional press conference was a threat to democracy. And that most of her “interviews” were conducted by friendlies.

They didn’t listen when we mentioned that a huge majority of Americans said they believed the country was going in the wrong direction.

They didn’t listen when we criticized Harris’ attempt to disguise herself as something other than the far-left liberal that her record showed.

They didn’t listen when we got sick and tired of their identity politics. That candidates should be elected on their merits instead of their race or gender.

They didn’t listen when anyone objected to trans politics that allow biological men to compete in women’s sports and shower with high school girls.

They didn’t listen to our good advice that focusing on Trump and abortion while eschewing any discussion of real issues was a recipe for losing.

They didn’t listen when we argued that the economy and national security were in better shape when Trump was president.

They didn’t listen when no one could help seeing that Biden proved himself utterly unqualified to run again for president during his debate with Trump.

They didn’t listen when we saw that the “lawfare” accusations leveled against Trump were politically inspired. That their failed attempts to remove Trump from state ballots was unconstitutional.

They didn’t listen when we pointed out evidence that Hilary Clinton and Democrats had engineered the phony Russia collusion.

They didn’t listen when we asked how anyone could avoid realizing that Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal was a colossal disaster and a threat to our national security.

They didn’t listen when we argued that the origin of the Covid pandemic was a Chinese laboratory.

They didn’t listen when the politicalization of the FBI and intelligence agencies became self-evident.

They didn’t listen to all that and more. They thought they were smarter and better than the “deplorables.” Or that bitter, white working-class voters were clinging “to guns or religion.”

They didn’t listen to how cancelling college loans was done for clearly political reasons, not because the students deserved the break.

They didn’t listen to a lot more. To those who saw that the deterioration of traditional values leads to the unraveling of the culture that nurtured families of all demographic classes.

All the attempts by Democrats to explain their election loss doesn’t seem to recognize that voices raised by all Americans should be heard. And that those voices must be respected. Can’t be done when you're listening only to the ideology dancing in your head.
