Hey, Mr. President, the U.S. is in a war, whether you like it or not. So, for our sake, fire back.

Two Navy guided missile destroyers, USS Cole and USS Bulkeley fired Aegis missiles to knock down ballistic missiles fired from Iran at Israel.
That pretty much engages us in the Middle East war that pits western democratic values against the madmen trying to destroy Israel in the name of Islam.
If that’s not evidence enough, consider the missiles fired by Iran’s tentacles at U.S warships and army camps. That’s clearly a declaration of war against us. U.S. defenses have been able to destroy the most dangerous missiles, at least for now. But because we’re in a war, we should stop sitting on our asses waiting for the next attack.
At a minimum, the warships should destroy the source of those attacks—the Iranian supported Houthi rebels in Yemen. Just sitting around and waiting for them to attack is an incredible and dangerous policy. Virtually unprecedented.
If Joe Biden had been president when Japan struck Pearl Harbor, would he have called for a cease fire so negotiations can go forward? You know, someone might get hurt if we respond militarily, blah and blah.
If Biden had been president instead of Abraham Lincoln, when the nascent Confederacy opened fire on the federal Fort Sumter, would he have said, “Whoa, before we fire a shot in return, let’s sit down and talk about this. Maybe we could reach a settlement.” Never mind that the Confederacy would have negotiated a settlement that could have allowed the new country to keep its slaves everywhere south of the Mason-Dixon Line all the way to the Pacific Ocean.
There comes a time when we no longer can allow our young men and women to be targets for fanatics who cry “Death to America.” That’s exactly what Biden’s policies have allowed for years. Handing over pallets of money to a country that pronounced that they our enemy. Restoring a pact that has allowed Iran to move forward toward creating a nuclear bomb.
Iran still deserves to be punished for kidnapping Americans from our Iranian consultant in the 1970s. That was a clear violation of international law. Just as is the Houthi rebels firing at commercial ships in international waters.
Like it or not, America has been the guarantor of “freedom of the seas” since World War II. No one else is equipped to guarantee that right. If we didn’t protect the right of any nation to sail the seas, the aftermath of the war would have been catastrophic.
For the isolationists among us, asserting that “we have no business meddling” in those affairs, I give you this: Iran is a bloody Medieval dictatorship that wants to destroy our democratic values and respect for individual rights.
If they would just stay out of our business, fine. Instead they want to impose by force that wretched system on the rest of us. This is a global war, demanding a president who stands up to this evil. That’s not Biden or Kamala Harris.
