Biden deserves more than impeachment for the crime, misery and deaths he's caused by opening the door to millions of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border
[The president] shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed…”—U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 3
Five-year-old Jean Carlos Martinez died and four more people, including four children were hospitalized after becoming ill at an overcrowded and unsanitary shelter in Chicago. — Chicago Sun-Times
There’s not enough room here to delve into all the evil that President Joe Biden has caused by throwing open the Mexican-American board to illegal immigrants.’’
Some people might argue that he’s too ignorant, dense or feeble-minded to be aware of the caravans crossing the border. I don’t agree. Even in his geriatric and crumbling state, he can’t avoided knowing. He can’t shut his eyes to the rape, child sexual exploitation, homelessness and destitution he is causing.
Is there a blunter way to say it: He has created a humanitarian crises of historic proportions. I think that “he’s got blood on his hands” is a tired cliche, but this time it’s the truth.
The streets of major American cities attest to it. So many millions of people induced to think that they will find a better life; Trump has misled and failed them, massively.
Camped on the streets or in police stations. Facing freezing. A hostile reception in Chicago. Joblessness. Poverty. '
Big city mayors—Democrats—are begging the Biden administration to help. Nothing. Consequently government budgets are getting gutted, forcing reductions of essential social services for citizens and legal immigrants. The same mayors who had no problem with the flood until they started showing up in their precincts. Even though the number seeking refuge in those cities is far, far less than the 8 million or so (Less than 1 percent) that are seeking refuge throughout America.
Never mind the rest of the country—the rural communities and suburbs—that are having to absorb all the people without having the resources to care for them. Their plight is not only ignored by Biden but also by the major (read: liberal) national media. Does anyone even bother to figure out where all these homeless, jobless people are going.? Where, for God’s sake, are the unaccompanied children ending up?
Not that everyone is wandering around without having a certain destination. So-called got-aways numbering more than 500,000 are roaming the country. With good reason, they are suspected terrorists, threatening a repeat of the 9-11 attacks. Others are criminals, such as convicted sex offenders, drug smugglers and gangsters. Even from the left-learning FBI leadership come dire wariness about a terrorist attack on a 9-11 scale.
Progressives puff up their chests, imaging themselves as the most compassionate, most caring, of all Americans. The self-styled social justice activists constantly accuse their opponents of being racist, homophobic, transphobic and more. Progressive appear to not a damn about the “tired, poor and huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” How can progressives be so heartless?
Talk of Biden’s possible impeachment centers on charges of corruption linked to his indicted son, Hunter. The Constitution specifically calls bribery an impeachable offense. Democrats ought to be as concerned as Republicans about an impeachment investigation.
Yet, failure to “execute the laws” is a graver offense than the Biden pocket-stuffing. It strikes at the very construct of our democracy. It elevates Biden to be (as Democrats like to say about Donald Trump) “above the law.” It makes him a dictator, above the other two co-equal branches of government.
For some reason, the impeachment discussion about the administration’s dereliction for not securing the border has focused on Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He laughably has testified under oath that the border is secure. He can’t be impeached for stupidity, but he should be prosecuted for perjury. But he’s only carrying out Biden’s policy.
No doubt, debate over the propriety of impeachment for failure to execute the law would be intense. But appropriate and useful.
It’s more than a legal issue, though. Whatever the illegalities Biden might be committing, there’s a moral issue. For some, that would be considered sinful. For others, immoral might mean something different, but equally abhorrent.
In my 81 years, there have been a number of seriously immoral governments policies. The internment of the Japanese and Jim Crow laws to name a couple. Biden’s border policies are right up there with them.
Maybe certain voters won’t care, but if there’s a God, Biden will answer to Him.
More than impeachment! You are so right! The proper word is TREASON. By definition; the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign.
Occasionally I hear a commentator ask something like, why isn't the president doing something to stop this.... The answer is simple. It is producing the desired effect. The desire, the destruction of the United States is the aim of those who manage Biden. Barrack Obama, George Soros, Xi Jinping. All who own lunchbox Joe. Here are some synonyms for treason. Backstabbing, double cross, sell out, two timing, betrayal, treachery, disloyal. They all fit Joe..... once you see things as his handlers do. Destroy America. All the profligate spending, the open border, the lawlessness in the streets, the censure of Donald Trump (like him or not), the support of Iran, the legislation supporting the green new deal. All these things promote the instability of our currency, our rule of law and our society. And if you want destruction; that means success.
