I guess I don’t mind sharing Easter with the Transgender Day of Visibility. Christ always wins.
People of trans can be whatever they decide. But not when it’s ruining children. We pray for the children who are victimized into believing that they have to make permanent life-altering decisions before they get acquainted with the real world. May Christ forgive those who think they’re doing a good thing by brainwashing these children.
What truly gets my goat is the egg roll rule that banned overtly religious symbols that children have traditionally painted on their eggs.
At first I was skeptical that anyone would be so bold as to outlaw religious symbols on a day that is religious in origin and celebrated by billions of Christians around the world as the most important religious commemoration. It’s greater than Christmas, it’s greater than every other feast day because that is the day that Christ rose from the dead and fulfilled the Messiah’s promises.
At first, I could not find a news report that focused or even mentioned the anti-Christ egg roll instructions. I thought maybe the story was wrong or made-up. Until I found this:
Children of the National Guard are prohibited from submitting religious Easter egg designs for the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event at the White House.
The art contest is part of the White House’s Easter traditions, which include the annual Easter Egg Roll.
The flyer for the contest states that an Easter egg design submission “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”
Of course, the place I found this was the New York Post, the only newspaper that has the guts to call out the Biden administration lunacy.
The Post added this:
“Selected designs representing the unique experience and stories of National Guard children will be brought to life on real hen eggs by talented egg artists from across the country and displayed at the White House this Easter and Passover season,” the flyer says.
Children also can’t promote material that promotes “bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age” in their designs.
In other words the ban apparently equates religious depictions on the eggs as equivalent to racism, etc.
Who is the blockhead in the National Guard who put this moronic ban on Easter eggs? Did he/she/they/them/whatever not notice the stupid rule? Did them just copy it off a standard prohibition? Did them actually intend to
exclude religious messages? I suspect that Biden didn’t even know about it, just as he doesn’t know about a lot of stuff. Only the stuff that his staff feeds him. The kind of screwball stuff that the far left imagines to be the “truth.”
So, go ahead, you grand visionaries, keep doing lunatic stuff. It only gives Donald Trump more votes.
Well said.
From NBC news-"Emily Metz, president and CEO of the American Egg Board, a group that supports the White House Egg Roll, said in a statement, "The American Egg Board has been a supporter of the White House Easter Egg Roll for over 45 years and the guideline language referenced in recent news reports has consistently applied to the Board to its founding, across administrations." Further, "The American EGG Board flyers standard non-discrimination language requesting artwork has been used for the last 45 years, across all Democratic and Republican administrations for all Easter Rolls incl. previous administrations, the First Lady's communication director, Elizabeth Alexander, said in a post on X."
